Seeking Nomination For the Conservative Party of Canada
MEET ADAM
Adam's roots in Antigonish County and the Conservative Party of Canada run deep. Raised with resilience and a strong sense of community, Adam overcame childhood cardiomyopathy, cured by a heart transplant in 2019. In 2012, Adam married his wife, Julie, and together they are raising their two daughters. His dedication to his family and his desire to create a better future for them and all families in Cape Breton-Canso-Antigonish drives his commitment to public service.

Adam's father, Herb Delorey, dedicated 30 years to serving their community as a councillor and Warden of Antigonish County. Inspired by his father's tireless work ethic, honesty, and commitment to the community, Adam developed a deep respect for public service and a strong desire to give back.

After earning his Electrical Engineering diploma in 2001, Adam, like many, relocated to Western Canada, where he gained invaluable experience in the Oil & Gas sector, advancing to the role of Electrical Project Lead/Manager.
In 2003, Adam began his journey as a stand-up comedian, headlining across Canada and recording albums that regularly play on Sirius Radio.
On June 15th, 2019, Adam received a donor heart, a moment that brought him and his family back home to Nova Scotia.
Transitioning from engineering, Adam found success in real estate, ranking #1 as a new agent in his first year and currently holding the #7 spot among 250+ agents.

Though not a career politician, Adam is committed to bringing his diverse experience in Oil & Gas, Renewable Energy, Healthcare, Arts, and Housing to Ottawa to help Cape Breton-Canso-Antigonish thrive. Adam is ready to serve his community and make it home for generations to come.
